Just a Monday

Today Tom has his first day of actual work.  Before this he's been doing in-processing and FTAC (First Term Airman's Courses).  We drove all over the base on Saturday trying to find exactly how to get to his "shop" because you have to drive over the taxiway where the planes go.  It's actually kind of dangerous if there would've been planes landing, but there weren't.  So I'm excited for him:)  It'll be nice for him to finally start on what's he's been learning for the last couple of months.

So I know you must all be wondering how William is doing.  He has had two teeth break through since we arrived.  He has a total of four, two on top and two on bottom.  Again, I will try to post pictures, but we're waiting until we get our own internet.  Right now I'm using our neighbors' internet and don't want to use up their band width.  

Will adjusted to the new time after only a few days and now is sleeping through the night.  He officially has his own room which we love.  We're teaching him how to "self-sooth" which has been a challenge, but he's getting there.  He likes to wake up crying in the middle of the night thinking that we'll rush in to put him back to sleep.  So instead we let him cry it out and eventually he goes back to sleep himself.  It gets better and better each night:)

William has been standing up next to everything, crawling, and cruising along furniture.  He's not walking yet, but we think he will be before his birthday in April.  We've been doing a little practicing and he gets better and better each time putting one foot in front of the other.  

We have mainly been spending our time in one room which is funny since we were complaining so much about living in one room for the longest time.  Funny how that happens.  We stay upstairs in our bedroom because it's the warmest room, has a bathroom connected to it, and has carpet so I don't have to worry so much if Will falls down.
