The subject pretty much says it all… We are just days away from leaving England, vacationing in Iowa (yeah, that's right -- you think it should be the other way around!), and starting our new lives in Florida. While I'm anxious for the move, I am certainly more excited to see what God has in store for us. It sure has been a crazy ride these past 3 years. Seems like only yesterday William and I were getting on a plane to join Tom here in England and now our assignment is up.
Tomorrow the packers arrive to take our household goods. Tom and I have been busily getting things ready around the house. He's cleaned the garage, taken things to the dump, and dismantled his electronics while I've been packing clothes, taking down pictures, and figuring out what needs to stay and what needs to go.
We've told the kids that we are going to see G&G and that we are moving to FLORIDA, but I don't think they fully understand yet. Tomorrow should be interesting to say the least. I've tried to get W & A involved by having them pick out toys and books that will stay with us while the other stuff gets shipped. Hopefully, that is a comfort to them.
So here begins the countdown to our flight, January 3rd…. 34 days!!!!
