Happy Christmas...

…as the Brits say.

Wow, it's been quite a while since I've posted on here.  So much has changed since July!  I kinda gave up writing on here since I feel as though many of you probably follow us on facebook.  For those of you who I don't get to talk with on a regular basis, here's an instant replay of the last 5 months.

Let's see! Tom got back to England from his deployment in mid-July.  He surprised the kids and I with his arrival in the states just a few days after our anniversary in August.  We spent a month together in Iowa. Adrian was baptized.  Had a party in Tom's honor.  We took a weekend vacation to Omaha to the Offutt Air Show and the Henry Doorly Zoo.

September 1st, we arrived back in England.  Adrian had his first birthday in October.  We moved to our new house closer to base.  November brought the cold and frost.  Tom and I took a solo trip to Venice for three days without the kids and now here we are in December with one year left in England.  Our deros (date eligible for return from overseas) is the beginning of January 2012.  We're not sure exactly what the next year holds, but we feel so very blessed to be here.

Since Tom's deployment our relationship has changed.  We appreciate each other in a new way.  We're thankful for our children.  Thankful for our church family.  Thankful for the opportunities we've been given.

Remember to be thankful for what you've been given….once you start adding it all up, you can't help but smile:)

We hope that all of you, our friends and family, are blessed in the Lord this Christmas season.
