So it is with that I begin by saying that our car has bit the dust for the last time. It still runs, but we think that the transmission is going out and no one around here seems to want to work on it or even give us a diagnosis of the impending damage. Everything over here seems to be a learning curve. BMWs in the states are a luxury and something of somewhat high status to own whereas here they are junk. That would have been good to know 6 months ago when we first got here. Oh well though, right? Hind sight...
So now we move on. After spending two days on the phone, Tom finally decided to take a look at a local used car dealership just on the outside of town. Everything seems to be falling into place although I am still hesitant to get too excited. It almost seems to good to be true, ya know? I'm also afraid that the same thing is going to happen again. Maybe I just need to do some heavy praying.
Moving on to a more exciting subject!....We're having a BOY! Just in case some of you may not have heard. We just had our ultrasound this last week and got see all of his little body parts. Everything is looking great and the baby's size is right on for the current due date (Oct 14). So....the dilemma of name picking has now commenced. Tom and I still can't decide on anything together. I have a few ideas and we know what each other likes, but no compromise has been met as of yet. It's so funny because every time I bring it up, it gets dropped just as quickly. I'm not sure if we'll have a name until we meet this little boy!
It's 24 days until our Iowa vacation and we're excited now more than ever to visit. We hope to see all of you and pray the weather is more sunny than it has been in the last couple of weeks!
Love you all!
Megan, Tom, Will, and 'baby boy'
