I just got off the phone with Tom. He said that the British Consulate is still "reviewing" our request for the visas. So basically they are mulling over something and dragging their feet. We just really need prayer for this situation. If the visas don't come back by Thursday or Friday morning then we may have to book a later flight. The gentlemen that Tom talked to did say that we would be able to leave this weekend so that is reassuring, but not concrete by any means.
So yeah, we just need prayer for this situation.
Lord, I know that you are already on the other side. You are past, present, and future. We give this situation up to you knowing that you have the best plan already laid out for us. Thank you for taking care of this situation! Amen!
01/20/09 at 6pm: Prayer answered after only a few hours: I received an email that our visas will be ready tomorrow. Thank you for all of your prayers! This means that I WILL be flying out on Friday evening and arriving in London Saturday morning:) Praise God for his faithfulness even when we fall short and have a hard time trusting that he WILL provide.
