Praying for Traveling Mercies

Tom is about 3 hours into his 8 hour plane trip to London. I keep praying for him. He's not the best flier, although he's getting better each time he flies. I'm also praying that things go smoothly once he arrives...through customs, being picked up, getting to RAF Mildenhall, and all the other little things.

Part of me understands why it was good for Will and I to follow after Tom. There's so much to be done once he gets there. He has to get housing lined up, get a vehicle, and go to a bunch of meetings and inprocessing things. He's also going to be getting acquainted with the area. All of these things might be a bit harder under the pressure of making sure Will and I are taken care of at the same time. At least still being here he knows that we are okay and that if we need anything that there is family to take care of us. ....and it won't be that long. It should be only 2 weeks at the most until we get to join Tom.

Anyway, like we've said before, God has a plan. Obviously that plan is meant to bless us and to try us. I know that He is working in our lives. I feel his presence more than I ever have in my entire life. I'm alive because of Him.

Lord, please protect my family now and in our future travels. Give us peace.
