We made it to Iowa!

I meant to post this a long time ago….here's a "snip it" of information about our travels back to the States from England for those of you who were wondering...

After a great deal of time and preparation, we've finally arrived in Iowa. Things didn't exactly go as planned throughout our journey, but we went with the flow and trusted that God's plan was best.

We had a few bumps along the way like Adrian leaving one of his beloved toys at our TLF (which is a big deal when you're two and most of your things are already gone) and finding out our flight to Chicago was cancelled three hours before we were about to leave due to a broken plane. We kept it together pretty well until we found out that when American airlines sent us to Delta that we didn't actually have seats on the flight. In other words, we were on stand by for a flight that was overbooked. This I admit was when the stress hit.

A crazy amount of luggage….many people stopped, stared, and pointed fingers along the way.  Kind of funny now that I think back on it.
